Due to EU accession and the need to comply with EU regulations, the milk processing sector is subject to a quick modernization.
All registered processing plants are divided in four classes i.e.:
 A. plants that already comply with EU regulations
B. plants that will comply with EU regulation on date of EU accession
C. plants that have a modernization and investment plan and that will comply with EU
regulations by 2012
D. plants that will be closed or that will produce traditional products with a self life longer
than 60 days after processing
