Seminar on HACCP and ISO 22000 - June 21st, 2006
Within the Dutch Romanian bilateral project "Quality control of raw milk" was organised a two-day workshop on HACCP and
ISO 22000 at Moeciu de Jos (Brasov) on 8-9 June 2006. This workshop was attended by 18 experts from various dairy companies.
The first day was aimed to provide information on HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) such as: what HACCP is and
why it is needed, EU legislation regarding HACCP, benefits of HACCP.
During the second day information was given on ISO 22000 being the new Food Safety Management System alike other certification
systems like BRC, IFS and SQF; benefits of ISO 22000 and certification of the standard.
