Dutch cows live longer - January 10th, 2010
According the recent figures presented by CRV, Dutch cows live longer and produce more than 30.000 kg lifetime, based on an average life of five years and
ten months (2,128days).
In the last few years Dutch farmers are not only breeding towards high milk production and high fat & protein levels but also at longevity. See
tables underneath.
