Press release regarding: Approving State aid granted to farmers for 2010 and the total amount allocated to such state aid - July 23th, 2010

This Government decision adopted in July 21, 2010 meeting , set State aid is granted to farmers in 2010 and the total amount allocated to each form of aid, thus :
1 . aid commitments to achieve voluntary welfare of birds and pigs To increase system performance in poultry and pig farming , pig and poultry farmers must remain financially supported by State aid , granted under the terms of EU legislation . This will lead to the development of viable farms , modern and efficient , able to ensure domestic and external competitiveness , quality controlled conditions , and developing rural economy .
2 . State aid for the livestock sector to cover the costs of collection and transportation of dead animals
State aid is given in the form of subsidized services by up to 100 % , farmers organized into micro, small and medium enterprises engaged in the production of agricultural products , which have contracted with an approved service under the legislation in force to operate processing / incineration / co - incineration of animal by-products not intended for human consumption .
3. State aid for diesel used in agriculture, in the form of reimbursement , the difference between standard and reduced duty .
4. State aid for payment of insurance premiums, to support farmers and encourage them to ensure their crops , animals, birds and bees families . State aid granted to small and medium enterprises to pay premiums under insurance contracts concluded with insurance companies , reinsurance .

Beneficiaries measures 1 , 3 and 4 are:
- farmers , authorized individuals , sole proprietorships and family businesses set up under Government Emergency Ordinance no. 44/2008 on economic activities by authorized individuals , sole proprietorships and family businesses , as amended, and / or legal entities recognized producer groups , including preliminary recognized , or recognized producer organizations , as appropriate , which are registered Register in agriculture , farm register , Vineyard register , national register of holdings , which operates agricultural land , individually or in forms of association as required by law , and holding , increasing or exploiting animals , individually or in forms of association under the law in force to obtain agricultural production ;

Beneficiaries of the measure in section 2 are :
- Micro, small and medium enterprises engaged in the livestock sector , respectively production units are kept , held or animals kept by farmers , recorded at the county sanitary veterinary and food safety , that of Bucharest , where appropriate , and agricultural register in order to achieve production .

NOTE :
The enactment determine the amounts allocated from state budgetBoth for the 3 ( three ) forms of support established by the draft laws presented in the Government meeting of July 21, 2010 , and the other two (2) forms of support - a pre-approved by the Government , that diesel used in agriculture, and one located in approval process , respectively transport dead animals.
