Increased productivity of dairy farms in the EU 25 - January 08th, 2007
Within the EU-25 countries the average milk production per farm increased in 2006 by 10.5% (compared to 2005) to an average
of 106,100 kg/farm.
The largest increase was Poland i.e. + 15.5% to a level of an average delivery/farm of 18,000 kg. The lowest increase was in
Germany i.e. by 2.1% to an average of 269,500 kg/year.
Dairy farms in Denmark have the largest milk supply/year/farm i.e. 849.100 kg.
